Exactly what Spark7 collects, why, who it’s shared with, and how to ask us to delete it.
Spark7 is a mobile puzzle game. We collect the minimum amount of data needed to run online leaderboards, deliver moderately personalized ads, process in-app purchases, and diagnose crashes. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your data. This page explains exactly what is collected, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how to ask us to delete it.
Spark7 collects the five categories of data listed below. All five are linked to your in-game identity (a random UUID created on your device). None of them are used for tracking.
| Category | What it actually is in Spark7 | Why we collect it |
|---|---|---|
| User ID | A random UUID (player_id) generated on your device the first time you launch Spark7. It is not a platform account ID, email, or hardware device identifier. |
App Functionality — to attribute your scores to a single player across sessions. Analytics — to count distinct players. |
| Other User Content | The display name you choose for the leaderboard. | App Functionality — so other players can see who set a score. |
| Coarse Location | A two-letter country code derived from your device’s locale setting (e.g. US, GB). We do not collect GPS, IP-based geolocation, city, or any precise location. |
App Functionality — to render a country flag next to your leaderboard entry. |
| Product Interaction | Gameplay statistics: final score, level reached, turn count, game seed. | App Functionality — to populate per-game and global leaderboards. Analytics — to understand which game configurations players reach. |
| Crash Data | Operational error logs (error context, message, and a small amount of structured metadata) sent through our internal logging layer when something goes wrong. | Analytics — to diagnose and fix bugs. |
To be explicit, Spark7 does not collect any of the following:

Data sent between Spark7 and our backend, AdMob, and the App Store / Play Store is transmitted over HTTPS using each platform’s standard networking libraries. Spark7 does not implement any custom or proprietary cryptography. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we keep the surface area small by collecting as little as possible.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the Effective date at the top of this page will change. Material changes will also be surfaced inside the Spark7 app where appropriate.
